The most delicious Magic Bars of the Season.
You Will Need:
1/4 cup Pumpkin Puree
1/4 cup Softened Butter
Toppings of Choice** We used:
Sugar Free Butterscotch Baking Chips
Sugar Free White Chocolate Chips
Crushed Sugar Free Toffee Candies
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Mix first three ingredients in a mixing bowl. Pat dough into bottom of pan making sure to push dough to sides and corners of pan. Bake 10 minutes.
Remove from oven, let cool slightly. Top dough with your favorite toppings and then pour condensed milk over top.
Return to oven and bake until the edges are golden and bubbly. Remove from oven and let cool completely before cutting.
** Use whatever toppings you prefer. Most Magic Bar recipes call for shredded coconut. We do not care for coconut so we omit it in our receipe but please feel free to use it in your bars.
We add the White Chocolate Chips after the bars have been baked, as soon as we remove them from the oven, we top the bars with the White Chocolate Chips at that point.
Please note that we do add the Butterscotch Chips before the second round of baking along with the Toffee, Pecans and Condensed Milk.
Carb count will depend on what toppings you use but will most likely end in the 3-4 Net Carb range.
The loaf pan should yield 8 bars.
