Vegan & Dairy Free Cookies

Our Kookie Mixes are so versatile that you can make your cookies Vegan and/or Dairy Free with a few simple substitutions.

 

For Dairy Free Cookies substitute dairy butter for Coconut Butter in a 1:1 ratio.

For Vegan Cookies use any suitable butter and egg replacer.  We prefer Coconut Butter and Flegg.

To make Flegg - flaxseed egg: mix 1 Tablespoon of ground flaxseeds with 3 Tablespoons of warm water.  This equals one egg.  Set aside for 5 - 10 minutes until thickened then add to Kookie Mix with Coconut Butter.

Making both dairy free and vegan substitutions will result in a denser cookie but they are just as delicious!
